I never knew that it was man made. I assumed that it was a natural spring wow.

tinabobina, Don't go in July, go in January. Then you walk barefoot and in your swimsuit through the SNOW to get into bath-hot water! Magical!

Ive noticed that the more movies I watch, the more info to answer this quiz comes up lol

Chris RN, I had a thought something like this could happen to injure poor souls in the wrong place at the right time.

Maja, Like most countries, you get out of it what you put into it.

Laurie, Do tell ?

A truly awesome experience. Highly recommended!

I just read in the news that the Blue Lagoon was closed this week due to serious volcanic activity.
Maja
Waaaay over-rated, as is the rest of Iceland, and I have over 100 countries on my list to date but what a waste of money, and people are incredibly rude. So many other countries offer amazing lagoons, geisers, active vulcanos but at much better deals and with people actually welcoming you!!
KAYLA-UK
Would luv to visit. Enjoyed watching a lot about Iceland with Alexander Armstrong.
Kimbo
Terri10251978, been there. It’s great!

Sammy81, Please indicate whether you are talking Fahrenheit or Celsius. Judging from the 38°, I would think it would be Celcius, because that water temperature would be chilly if it were in Fahrenheit. But speaking as a Canadian, -2° Celsius isn't all that cold for winter here.
The Rush
Thought it would be natural but impressive how it's been created.

Terri10251978, same!

The Sulphur Hot Springs in Banff Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 is similar. You can 🚶♂️walk through the snow ❄ and swim🏊♂️ while it is snowing🌨
