Harleygirl1898, I didn’t grow up with the Muppets. Never heard of them until I was almost 40. LOL I’m almost 75 though and didn’t have my only daughter until I was 34, so that accounts for my ignorance of them, and many other such kid’s TV characters. I didn’t watch cartoons as a kid, and my daughter was never much interested in them either. She did like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles though, but as a teenager. LOL I actually liked the Smurfs when they first came out. I was an adult then though. We’d rather watch documentaries and shows about how things are made, etc., anything reality-based. My 3 year old granddaughter loves many of the currently popular cartoons, like Bluey and the one kind of western-themed with a sheriff (can’t remember the title). There are several she’s glued to when they’re on. She has a tablet too (real one) and she’s downloaded several games that she plays religiously, especially in the car, all the while singing rap songs word for word ! She’s something else, believe me !! LOL

I just love the Muppets when I grew up watching Sesame Street. I learned a lot from that show Growing Up. May Jim Hanson rest in peace.

I was a GREAT fan of the earlier years of the Muppets, but so many new characters were added and it just wasn't the same.😢

I Love all of his creations. The world would be a much sadder place without him. I am an older person who has a few Sesame Street Characters on a shelf in my living room 🙂
