Interesting. But we don't ride brooms anymore. Most of us have sensible cars. ;)

The nisse, yes, the broom thing? Never heard of. Possibly a “myth” invented by Norwegian-Americans? Not a thing in Norway, anyway

Boy, you all are keeping me on the soap box tonite. Did u see the clown in the news this Christmas, forget the city. Standing on a street corner dressed as the grinch with a sign stating, 'Santa is fake-Jesus is real'??!!! A few years back I was able to catch an am radio down south preacher (naturally) talking 'the Christmuss tree is a pagan, satanic symbol-blah blah blah blah'... I had the chance to e-mail the joker; 'tell ya something preacher-I was raised in a Baptist household ok? My folks were very involved in the church. I would've loved to be a fly on the wall if u were to chastise her that she should take down our satanic tree'. Anyway, happy B-Day Jesus and I hope that Santa is good to those on his nice list.
