D'Onofrio was first seen in "homicide life in the streets. He play a man jammed between a subway and the side. Literally cut in half but still able to speak. He died when the subway moved. Great acting.

Vincent D'onofrio is awesome in whatever role he takes on. He was great in Men in Black! Kubrick modeled Gomer Pyle after Andy Griffith's role in 'No Time for Sergeants'. In fact, there are many parallels. Lee Ermy's DI was partially modeled from Warren Oates DI, and also his own time spent as an actual DI in the Marines.

I was unaware they spent all that time training for the Marines to join the Army for the war. Maybe I gotta watch that movie again.....

I didn't watch the film until I was 19 years old or so. There were sooooo many samples in music that I've heard before. All those songs have a different, darker meaning since I know where they come from.
