As we help so many countries what can one expect and we never stop giving. If we kept all the dollars we gave away our debts would probably be less.

Its interesting that we owe the majority of the debt to ourselves. Currently our government owes 3 trillion to the Social Security Trust and another 5.8 trillion to other departments.

chaser, yeah, we borrow from China, Japan, the American people (savings bonds...), & a few others, so we can give to other countries... and dig our nation more deeply into debt.
