How many strings does a pedal harp have?

great question! didn't know this one.

KatsEye68, Me neither. I grew up around a harp as my grandmother played one, and I thought it had at LEAST 158 strings. Childhood memories once again makes things bigger. :)

Lever harps also do this and are not as large. I have one. 4 octaves.
