Player #2604682, I was born and raised there but now live in Queensland Australia. But Bristol has a long history. I. read a shot time ago that they have discovered a stone age settlement near the old city centre. Its originally name was Brigstowe. Meaning Bridge Place. Well worth a visit if you're into history.

Don't mean to be picky but shouldn't it be worded "where do you go to see".....???

The Unicorn actually represents Scotland, the Lion is the symbolic animal of England not that it matters much putting it out there!

Cha Cha, you are so right Cha Cha. We took our son on a road trip of the UK, for his 16th birthday. We didn't get to half the places we'd have liked to but we did visit Bristol. if you've never been put it on your list. A fabulous, friendly, exciting city.

luckycatfay, We went last year for a few days and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely Bristol is. We didn't get to do everything we wanted to and will definitely be going again for longer 😊

Elfcounsel, I think you'd need to edit Wikipedia to get this one fixed.

Elfcounsel, you must live in Bristol to know that. Spot on.
