I tried a sample of haggis this year and it was very tasty . The one thing that I don’t find appetising is ‘black pudding ‘ as the thought of eating congealed blood is too off -putting!

OptimisticFrog17914, I know, it didn't sound appetizing to me. But I, who am a very picky eater, decided to taste it. It was the most tasteful of any other fare!

batman25/1, I agree. The thought of eating 'lung' makes me think I would have to have at least a full 6 drams of Scotch Whiskey to wash it down.

Player #19719147, I helped make haggis at an event and felt lucky that I didn't get any. It was for the high table that night. I'm sure it's tasty, but it was made from a recipe and the cook was not Scottish so....

My faither and pals would have shot me if I got that wrong, proper haggis is amazing!! Along with Scotch Pies and Tablet in fact a lot of Scottish food is amazing not to mention the Whisky and we will put anything in a pie such as Macaroni and lasagna we’re not called Scotland the Brave for nothing!!!

28 years ago, when I was 25, I was in Scotland with my mom. My grandmother was full blooded Scottish. We had haggis while in Edinburgh. It was so delicious. Was dubious about trying it but so glad I did.
