Anvil pruners crush and bruise the plant. Bypass pruners (two sharp blades) are easier to use and don't damage the plant as much. True pruning will allow the plant to heal not just cut it back.

Arohanui, Milking is a great joy, especially in cold weather. The sweet scent of warm milk rising from the bucket, nice warm friendly animals. I am old now, crippled and miss them, the cows and goats, so much. Also the sweet fresh dairy products.
