What is Grand Central Terminal, Park Avenue, New York?

lily 21, It is so lovely, lots of people but such lovely architecture and colors. I could hardly get on my train. I traveled South, down the Eastern Seaboard, few signs of civilization. This was 45 years ago, things are probably different now but That was a fabulous ride.

Hence the expression, "it's like Grand Central Station in here!" Jackie Kennedy was behind the cleaning and thus revealing beautiful unknown artwork on the main ceiling.

In the 1960s my family lived in Connecticut and would take the commuter train into New York City to Grand Central Station. Marvelous experience!

When my son was a little boy, he was a complete trainiac and loved the Train Museum shop in GCT. He could tell you all the subway lines and transfer stops needed to get there when he was only 3!
