Who had the main male role in the film "Tarzan the Ape Man" (1932)?

My dad was a swim instructor for the Navy frogmen (the predecessor to the Navy Seals). He got to meet and spend the afternoon with Johnny Weissmuller, it was without a doubt one of the highlights of his time in the Navy.

As a child I was in love with Tarzan - my grandfather had the entire Edgar Rice Burroughs series and he started me on the Weismueller movies when I was about 6. Wonderful memories, wonderful books, wonderful movies!

I love this my grandfather and Johnny weismiller dove in the Olympics together and Johnny called them up my grandmother and my grandfather to go out to California when you got the role of Tarzan this is awesome
