My daughters swing set had a wasps nest in it and she refused to use it until dad got rid of the wasps. I did but it wasn't easy.

My dad use to put newspaper in each end of the clothesline poles and light it to smoke the wasps out. Better to wait til sunset when most can be killed.

Apparently, in 1869 The Bishop of Bath and Wells commissioned a Bible from the Pulp-Paper from Wasps. It took 7 years to make and print all the Texts inside. The same Bible now resides in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
