Oro Y Plata is the motto of our state from Spanish for Gold and Silver. It appears on our state sea land flag. Not only does it stand for our natural resources but also our agriculture. And it really is The Last Best Place.

Our son and daughter in law live in Montana and work for the National Park Service and National Forest Service. Montana is a beautiful state but is currently being overrun by folks from other states. Billionaires who are building enormous estates largely with immigrant workers. People who move from other states and want to live in Montana but soon begin trying to turn Montana into the state the just left. There are also foreign oligarchs moving in and buying up land. Poor Montana!

mesne, we went through exactly this in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and it spread throughout the state. The problem with being rich is that people get greedy for all the beauty of the world. They truly believe they are more entitled to it than others. Fences and walls working up to shut others out. Even our state parks got carved up to cater to Hollyweird. Seems they now have a new place to carve up. My heart goes out to you!

Most states have their beauty. In some there was rapid increases in population growth, others not so much. But those days are soon to be a thing of the past. Population explosion saddens me.

Her friend started laughing, and said,"Where are you going to wear that?" My daughter had packed her bikini! They told her that she wouldn't be wearing it up there, cause it never gets warm enough to go swimming.

Player #19007917, Well, it maybe was. I'm a fifth generation Montanan, and no longer recognize my home. Celebrities and billionaires keep coming here and abusing the land and locals. Californians: Thanks for visiting, BUT PLEASE DON'T STAY
