In which city is the Grand Canal?

I need to go on a European adventure some day and visit this famous city.

Venice is almost all canals.

Pimpao +, Venice doesn't smell. Been 4 times , no smell as it's tidal. Perhaps they were doing work on a canal where water was becoming stagnant.

most beautiful city in the world imho ... but sadly may soon all be submerged by the waters produced by global warming. Have a plant based diet, use public transport, grow your own veggies... go green, save the planet, get healthy and happy... and just maybe save Venice too. What's not to like?!

Player Elf Counsel - Yes, we loved it too, except it was so overcrowded with people because of the multitude of cruise ships visiting! And like you, ageing has prevented us from returning. (I say "ageing" because I just don't like saying "getting too old"!)

MY PARENTS VISITED ITALY,AND WENT TO VENICETHEY LOVEDALL OF THE SCENERY AND PEOPLE. THEY TOOK A GONDOLA RIDE, AND ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH.
