thomas, My whole education since 1st grade was in Catholic schools through college. I was an altar boy in the late 70s and I’ve been a Catholic school teacher for 32 years. I’ve been around a lot of priests in my life, and my experience has been very positive. Most of the priests I’ve known only helped me feel good about myself as a person and Christian. You are absolutely correct. Deviants and predators can show up anywhere.
