Sadly, gas ovens were sometimes used by people who wanted to commit suicide.

England once enjoyed a very creatively welcoming period from the industrial revolution onwards. But let's see how the kind of differently minded creative few are treated there from the 21st century onwards, and in particular by 'those who like everyone to keep in their place...' Hmmm.
