I live in Australia, we have a lot of the worst snakes in the world for poisoning, so staying away is the best thing to do..

If I'm not mistaken, the younger rattlesnake has a stronger venom bite than older ones.

One of my young outdoor cats came home with a rattlesnake bite a month ago & we had his 2nd follow-up vet visit yesterday. Another one in 2 weeks. The venom definitely destroys tissue. He's doing well. The wound is slowly shrinking as he heals. Bad for cats; bad for people.

Player #9618426, a group of rattlesnakes or a solo one is called a dead snake in my eyes

EricHahnNo1
I thought it was a pack, but I guess that's just Camels.
Sorry, smoker's joke.

Adams Gold
Player #9618426, all younger snakes are the most venomous than the adult ones

Player #9618426, I can't remember whether their venom is actually more potent, or that they envenomate more readily than adults, but I think you're right about the effect.

"Snakes, why does it always have to be snakes". Indian Jones, lol

slabjacker1, We'd be picking my poor mamma off of the floor. A little garter snake once came into our basement. Mamma was on top of the washer shrieking at top lung level for help. She had been a Marine for WW2. It's a good thing nobody used snakes for ammunition.

Player #96919, I thought it was a dance 💃

Rick-N-Bacher
Player #9618426, older snakes learn how much venom is needed to kill prey. young snakes just inject more venom. it takes time to replace their venom.

Player #38170994
I hate seeing snake pictures they freak me out. my friend gave me a scarf with animal print, I binned it and it wasn't a cheap one

Player #16702581
Player #9618426, younger/baby rattlers do not have control of the amount of venom they use. older/adult rattlers have this control and their venom is higher in toxicity so they don't need as much. Both babes and adults can kill you. Use caution and respect.

Very strange to see so many comments listed.
