Player #9398981, As a critical care RN who cared for patients in the ER and ICU and who also owned a nursing home I did not have suffering patients because I knew how to administer and manage analgesics like morphine to relieve pain and suffering. My job, joy and duty was to nurse my patients back to optimum health and for others to nurse them (and their families) through the process of dying.

Laudy Miss Claudy, nice to hear that you actually administer enough analgesics to ease pain and suffering. I had to watch my father die in misery and agony because, despite a doctor prescribing analgesics, his highly religious night nurse refused to administer them. She accused the doctor and my mother of trying to euthanase him. He was kept awake by day, due to hospital routine and got little sleep at night due to lack of pain relief... torture disguised as christian morality.
