What is the capital of Haiti?

Haiti was the first country in the western hemisphere whose slaves successfully revolted against their white slave owners...and as a consequence, no other country in Europe, or the Americas would trade with Haiti. Additionally, the Haitian exslaves had to pay France the equivalent of 2 billion dollars because they were considered as lost chattel or property. Haiti only finished repaying France in the 1940's. Any wonder why Haiti is still the poorest country in the western hemisphere.
