Where did pasta (noodles) originate?

I miss mom's chicken noodle soup. She was a very simple cook like my grandmother, but it was wonderful.

my mom and grandma made their own noodles. They both had the strongest hands from kneading the dough.

Uninitialized, rice and rice noodles are most common in the south of China, where the climate is subtropical. In the north where there are vast plains and the weather is colder and drier, the diet is different and includes more meat and wheat noodles.

Chinese eat rice. The noodles made in China in old ages are unlikely to be made of wheat dough
