One cannot imagine what she endured while she was at school there. The women who went first endured so much.

More power to her because I know what it's like to be the first female. I was the first Black Female Cashier, in 1967, to be hired by the grocery store chain, Winn-Dixie. The chain had hired a Black Male as a Bag Boy, but no females before I was hired. I went through some terrible times because of it, but my manager and an extremely caring older Cashier showed me true love. I will never forget what they did.

Daybonn, Sadly, I didn't have to imagine it. I was one of the first females in my squadron in the USAF.
