Saw Neil Diamond in concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the 1980s. He was fantastic!! He had the entire audience up on their feet when he played "America!"

Red Red Wine is a great song. I first heard it while serving in Beirut. I did not realize Neil Diamond wrote it or recorded it though.

I first heard a Neil Diamond song when I was in 7th grade. The Song was Sweet Caroline and I bought the album. I have loved his music and him ever since. Went to see him in concert in Fort Collins as a teenager. There are too many of his songs that I love to name a favorite.

Great song writer and musician. Sweet Caroline should be up there too. Definitely one of my favorites. So is Coming to America.

Daybonn, neither did I!

Sweet Caroline is one of the most beloved songs of the 60s. I've seen whole bars full of people (at just the right stage of tipsy) sing out loud when Sweet Caroline comes on the jukebox. Not too many songs can inspire that.

Roberta Ann, Like the Morticia, picture.. A lot of unknown songwriters sell songs ( and all rights to them ), to music producers in places like " Music Row, " In Nashville, TN ( not the only Nashville) . Neal Diamond is the real deal, others may not be..

Daybonn, most were written by Boyce and Hart though Diamond wrote a few hits.
