Correct answer: In sand

Love sea tutles! Called "honu" in Hawaii. You can see them often napping on the warm sand or munching algae off the rocks. Can't touch but you can get quite close and sometimes swim alongside them.

I'm from Hawaii and the sea turtles are pretty cool to watch, in and out of water. I nursed a baby one from a spear injury that went through just the side of it, thank God nothing critical, and after healing in about 2 weeks, we released it at Ali'i Beach Park, as I followed behind it walking towards the ocean, all the tourists and locals were taking pics...It was sad to see it go, but a joyful occasion that it got to live again! 💕

Recently (06/2021) in the news that because of rising temperatures, the babies that are hatching are all females. They have a few sites that they are watering and cooling to ensure males are born.
