Uninitialized, that's the thing with anatomy there's no really simple way of explaining it, as the human body is complicated, I've been living with chronic illness' for the last 10 years & the research I've done is completely mind blowing, if someone like myself who has studied anatomy & physiology, (prior to getting sick)who struggles with complex autoimmune physiology, yes all I can say is it's tough going..

SOOTI,
When I asked the doctor what was wrong with my mother I was told she had a squamous necrotic carcinoma. I said to that doctor that he should remember that he had studied medicine for over 7 years and if that was the best explanation he could give me he should go back and start over because if he could not get the patients or relatives to understand , then he would never be a good doctor.
My accountant mother had clear not understood as a few minutes later she asked me “Am I going to die?” .
The hardest thing you can ask a child to do is to tell their parent the answer to that question. In fact I thought she had already been told as my older brother told me that he would break the news. When I confirmed the prognosis to her , her response was “ I thought so because Pete( my elder brother) came this afternoon and just sat on the bed crying “

Uninitialized, sometimes there is no alternative to the jargon used in medical matters, and if they did try to explain it that would take so long to read that others would be complaining.
