Good for Iceland not letting others in! I applaud their laws.

I think the volcanic eruption was in 1783. It formed fissures which erupted a massive amount of lava. Named Laki, it affected the whole world. The horses and cattle (and the people) that died were thought to have been poisoned by fluorine from the eruption.

I almost said shetland pony!! I went with my gut feeling!!
