I saw bits of it in the movie, Black Klansman. Birth of a Nation was truly a racist movie! It's sad to know that some people enjoyed it. Yes, it is an embarrassment to our country!

To celebrate black history, I had my homeroom class of 8th graders make a bulletin board of black mathematicians, and, so as to avoid perpetuating yet another silly stereotype, I had the girls research female black mathematicians. It turned out great!👍
