I love watching the fruit on the tree change with time. The olive tree is long lived & like all trees lovely, homemade olives not as easy as it seems to get it right lol may be for some I got given some from for Xmas a few years back I have to say it was a wee bit to bitter still for me liking .. you have to get the balance just right!

Good quality Australian grown virgin cold press is quite cheap .I buy in bulk and transfer to bottles with a couple of cut up garlic cloves. Use resulting oil for everything from light frying ,salad dressing ,dipping of crusty baguette pieces and bottling sun dried tomatoes and other vegetables.
