One other thing you might experience this is because you wake up during your sleeping cycle. Usually you need 5 full cycles for a healthy sleep, one cycle lasts for 1 hour and a half. There are apps for that and waking you up at the right time.

From what I understand is that people with dysania can’t get up even though they want to. The brain signals just don’t make the leg muscles work. It may take hours to get the connection working

Some of us have dysania because we worked late shifts in hospitals and in other professions which require late shifts. Early risers are often treated as though they are more virtuous than those of us who are late risers. “Oh, are you JUST getting up?!?” There are different circadian rhythms. What would things be like, if all of us were on the same time schedule? I might be tough getting seen in an ER at 2 AM if everyone were asleep. I had an uncle who used to chide me about getting up at 10 AM. Uncle George, being virtuous, got up at 5 AM. I would chuckle to myself when I’d catch him taking a 2 hour nap at 1 PM.

When I was working, I was able to get up immediately when my alarm went off. Now that I'm retired, I have a more difficult time, especially when it's cold.
