She was RUN off the road. I remember when it happened in real time, and like the movie, it was riveting. As I recall, the company got into a lot of trouble.

Great movie. Fantastic acting and important that it told an important and sad story.

The brown leather purse belonging to Karen Silkwood, which was with her on that tragic night, is on display at Port Arthur's Museum of the Gulf Coast. The story is intense, as is the movie & the cast was wonderful. Karen Silkwood was so very brave & unfortunately it costed her life. R.I.P. Karen Silkwood.

Player Say what!?, a sad ending for the young woman, i still feel for her and think about her, i think she was ran off the road too.

Silkwood was a great movie because it made you think of the coverups that some companys will do to protect their interest and not the people who work for them. The actors did a good job of their portrayals of the real people involved.

Ruby, Kurt Russell asked her at the beginning "and who the he-- are you supposed to be?" Ha she ended up being an award winner in this movie.

Agree the cast was the best in this Movie. All great actors… I am surprised why the story is nit shown today.. Maybe the famiky does not want it shown.. to painful
