Who is the Greek equivalent in mythology for the Roman goddess Luna?

So it's Selene, not Selena.

My daughter's middle name is Selene.

I always get this one confused because, I don't recall hearing stories of Selene and Helios. I always though it was Artemis and Apollo who were the moon and sun gods.

I feel sure Selene adorned the east pediment rather than adore it!
