In which year did Alfred Nobel bequeath his fortune to the Nobel Prize Fund?

A rich, powerful & brilliant man does a good & lasting legacy. Not done as much in this day & age. There are some, but very few, unfortunately.

I am not a number., investments, stocks, bonds, mutual funds.

I'm wondering how the fund has grown (notwithstanding inflation). Have others donated to it in their wills?
