As of 2019, what is the conservation status of the Maui dolphin?

Maui is not the name of New Zealand's North Island! Also the Maui dolphin is not called the Maori dolphin. They are playful gorgeous animals that swim beside your boats. We need to bring their numbers up. Stopping long lines would be a start - hundreds & hundreds of fish baited hooks on one long 😡

I totally disagree with the last sentence. Most, if not all dolphins, use clicks to hunt and navigate.

"Maui" and "Maori" are not interchangeable as it seems they are being used here.
