Yea I don't like to change my clocks. Messes with my mind and body.

BigElderberry2142
wish it could stay like that, love the longer days

Ac
They need to end this unnecessary time change. They need to leave standard time, but these people aren't even considering standard time, even though they have said how standard time is the healthier time for humans. It aligns better with the human clock

Les
I Love that I LIVE IN HAWAII AND NEVER HAVE TO CHANGE MY CLOCKS. BUT YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TRY TO REMEMBER ALL THE DIFFERENT TIME ZONES CALLING THE MAINLAND AMERICA. LOL

Mel, Texas DOES observe DST.
I wish we’d just “spring forward” then leave the clocks alone.
Love DST!

Try putting a child to bed when the sun is still out at 9pm

Linnie, Arizona remains on standard time year round. Daylight savings time was initiated during WW11 to have lights out after dark so enemy planes didn't have lights to navigate by for possible bombing.
Go back to standard time year round. less confusing for mind and body.

Hope
Born and raised in Colorado, been doing this change my whole life, I'm used to it.

Ac, Who exactly are "They"? Please Elaborate

Congress made Daylight Savings Time year round in 1973. It seemed good at first, but soon parents found their kids going to school before sunrise. In some places, sunrise was as late as 8:30 am. Traffic accidents increased and the public feared that children would be hit by cars in the dark. The American people told Congress to take it away, and because it was 1973, Congress actually listened to what the people wanted. That's how we got what we have now.

Linnie, but that extra hour of daylight burns up your grass.

Smooth, DST gives us an hour more daylight in the afternoon, when we need and want it.

Linnie

As of 2023 you can add Minnesota to the group not observing it. Fall of 2022 is the last change turning clocks back and will stay that way...finally!
