Where was persimmon first cultivated?

Hanoj, I have one in my garden too, but in the UK we don’t have the right climate for it. Mine grow but do not get fully ripe outside as it’s too cold in November. I pick them and bring them indoors to ripen. Even then they’re not really ripe enough. Get a few that are ok.
