In which country is this monument?

The mice (+all the other animals!) should have massive statues to recognise their valuable contribution to science. Hopefully science has advanced so much that animals are no longer needed. Test things on convicted paedophile, rapists and murderers if you need to test things!

Kiwozzie, Testing on incarcerated human beings was outlawed in the 20th Century. Human medical testing is still performed on military personnel without informed consent. I had a friend who died from such testing in the Army. Couldn’t have an open casket because the coroner and mortician had never seen a body in his condition. Had no idea what happened, nor how to make the body presentable.

Kiwozzie, I agree. The statue in Russia should be dedicated to all the mice which gave their life to R & D.

This is so cool! So many animals large and small work and give their lives for us to live longer and healthier lives. 💕 Just read about a giant rat who got a (mini!) medal of honor for 5 years service sniffing out land mines in Cambodia.
