The museum is about 15-30 min. outside of downtown Oslo. The viking ships inside a non-flashy building looked so "organic". Nice rolling hills, just a green feel-good peninsula. 💚

When you look at the people standing by the ship against the windows you can see how big it is . I thought they were much smaller , but you can see how they crossed the Atlantic in those!

The Kon Tiki museum dedicated to the Thor Heyrdahl expedition and the Fram museum where you can see Roald Amundsen ship are worth visiting too. Both these great people were my childhood heroes and because of them I love Norway...well them and Norwegian black metal!
