The novelist Tom Clancy is best known for writing which genre of novels?

I read a few of his books, when I was in the service, a lot of us did. They were great!!!!! Very Very technical. He was a very intelligent man, and a great writer.

I saw a young FBI agent on TV recently who said he read Tom Clancy novels when he was younger, and decided then it would be the FBI or the CIA for him. I thought he was awesome, one, for reading Clancy, and two, for following his dream.

Freddie, My Stepdad was a submariner during the Korean War. We used to watch military movies together. The seeds of my thirty-year interest in WWII were planted there. One of our favorite movies was "The Hunt for Red October."
