Goodboy
Glad I live in Britain where there are no killer spiders !

Goodboy, we have the false widow now. Originated from pet spiders being lost (black widows) and mating with our native spiders, thus being able to withstand our cold winters and survive to breed.. While not proven yet to kill, their bite is painful and causes palpitations/vomiting and temperatures, as well as leaving a scar where the bite has been. I have been bitten by one and I can tell. You it's excruciating. I was bad for a few days and the hole left in my ankle is not a pretty sight. It itches, then burns and leaves a deep crevace in your area bitten that takes a while to heal.

Goodboy, Yet the English are more afraid of them, than those from countries that have lots of them, like Australia.

I think bats are just as scary, and maybe even more, than spiders.

Player #48300643, In sure that was very painful! Our son was bitten by a Brown Recluse twice in the exact same spot! Bizarre!

I don’t have the phobia but I hate them, and somehow they get to our home with every windows and doors closed! Every place we go! 😟

Apparently spraying lemon juice around the normal entry points or haunts will deter them
