We have a registered Catahoula American Bulldog. He’s gorgeous & very smart when he wantsss to be! He’s definitely a watch dog but is very lovable to his family! He’s a big cry baby & knows how to pout!

Anna J, Sounds like a certain hound a friend owned. Boxer × Labrador. That hound was NO Featherweight - would Effortlessly °Spring Up° onto the TOP Of Yard Wall @ Least 2 Metres high) Remaining there for Many Minutes before deciding to come down again. He was NEVER trained to do that stunt !

I can vouch for the tree climbing. It happens so fast I can barely register what is happening. Our dog Apollo regularly gets about halfway up our tree in the back to get those pesky squirrels! He’s caught a few.

Anna J, why does the article not mention HOW this breed climbs, and why has no one mentioned that lack in five years?
Rachel
Many of them are now used for wild pig (boar) hunting.
