town01, not wearing makeup does not make a girl butch, just natural.

Personally, I prefer to use avocado, grapeseed oil and coconut oil to moisturize my skin. Skin loves plant based oils, it offers nutrients and is very hydrating, do you really want to put something akin to motor oil on instead?

You can find makeup and moisture without petroleum n mineral oil in it.

town01, I guess "to each their own", as the saying goes. I don't wear makeup a lot...causes blemishes so I go without. My husband loves me with or without and I feel natural not like a butch girl at all, assuming butch here means without makeup.
lynami66
ok, who said flower petals??? lol
Canis Lupus
Always dreamed of natural beauty but use cosmetics to make me passable.

I found out from a barrel of oil they make materials for clothing like shirts, crazy what you can get from oil, petrol etc

Please be careful of what products you use on your face, especially in the United States. It's horrifying what toxic chemicals the FDA? allows to be in them.
Many of the products used here are banned in other countries, because they know better, have better regulations and DEMAND health over profits.

Player #14604673, There are eyelash serums available to lengthen and thicken them. Try UK LASH - it does work. Just enter uklash into any search engine.

That's why I get sick being exposed to synthetic fragrances because they petroleum based. In recent years they are increasingly embedded in many products

lynami66, well in organic make up I have seen it used as a colourant along with vegetable dyes so maybe not so far off. I also have also recently seen a documentary on DW Welle on mica being mined by young children in India where they are being exploited all for the make up industry & are not ppe nor any shoes at all for that matter. Yep it’s harder said that done when once doesn’t know the choices made by the company but I try to by organic ethical products whenever possible is not easy sometimes when one doesn’t have the money that gives the ability to choose the better products.

Didn't even think of that answer. Partially because I thaught of makeup and because I avoid all petroleum based products.

mineral oil leaches the fat soluble vitamins (A,D,E,K) from the skin. Greatest rebranding ever is "baby oil" the sludge left after all the usable products are extracted from crude oil.
