Another silly question, as it depends on the system, the application and the configured language. It's so limiting assuming it's all the same.

hi, DEC made great machines. In the early 80s (?) I wished I could work with a VAX. I convinced them to get us a Rainbow 100. It was an excellent system, but things like a higher capacity diskette format made data transfer hard when they started getting IBM PC compatibles. This was before networking was more common. I was sad when DEC was bought out and eventually disappeared.

Hans, yep, I grew up programming on Digital Equipment Company computers. Operating system, language support all completely different from Dos etc.
