I have heard of the Four Seasons as being considered as pedestrian, by music snobs, but I have found it to be beautiful, complex and for the time it was written very forward thinking. I would rather sit in my living room with a hot cup of tea, or two, a crusty piece of bread with cheese in front of a roaring fire, listening to winter and fall, than sit through an evening of banging drums, squeaking violins, and tortured brass instruments of a modern composition any day.

Bravo, Callie Rose! Couldn't have expressed what you stated any better...as was Vivaldi's expression in his work, which remains to this day one of the best of mankind's greatest compositions of music, EVER.
