Portia, I do not consider this issue a Phobia. I get very disturbed by Banging/slamming doors ..perhaps reminds me of arguments and anger ?? Some specific 'Tones ' from Doorbells, Phone rings even if on TV put me ' on edge ' Nothing to be done to cure

I definitely have a fear of loud noises, especially doors slamming and thunder but I have just put that down to part of my CPTSD.
