This is also why a kookaburra (Australian) can be heard on the intro and throughout episodes. I used to love watching Tarzan on Saturday mornings, even after an evening out drinking with my bestie Kathy.

Tim, Actually Edgar Rice Burroughs also wrote John Carter of Mars . I note he didn’t say he’d never been there!

I loved watching old Tarzan movies on TV when I was little. Once at a circus when I was 5 or 6 yrs old, I was afraid of the elephants. I feared someone may do the Tarzan yell, causing the elephants to stampede. my older sister thought this was funny, so she did the Tarzan yell under her breath, repeatedly!
