RegretfulHuman68, Yes John Hurt appeared in the 50th anniversary Dr Who special The Day of The Doctor, alongside both David Tennant and Matt Smith. 3 doctors in one episode. Worth seeing.

Others were good, but William Hartnell was the iconic Dr Who. I watched it from the beginning. Many changes over the years, and still fascinating.

I was complimented on my quick response, but I clearly remember watching the first episode of Doctor Who when I was a child. I loved it. It was so different from anything else, and at a time when there wasn't all that much television for children. I'm still a fan.

UnderwayRout4, my wife knitted me a replica of it - 15 feet long and 1 foot wide. It's awesome.
