I've read it and also Crime and Punishment. These literary reviews make it sound so serious! THEY'RE COMEDIES! It's not Les Miserables. And, like Shakespeare centuries before, he uses comedy to highlight social tragedy. I was surprised and delighted. If you read books, put him on your list.
