Gee Gambino, it should just be called history. this is the only country in the world that seperates things by race. (i.e. if you live in england you are british, italy you're italian and so forth). history books should tell it all...the good the bad and the ugly. Don't you agree?

This is why we need REAL American history taught in our schools. Not once a year black history but just history of Americans. Who helped build this country. I heard about him once but only cuz of a Lone Ranger background story.

I read a lot about him in some Western books. How he served under judge Issac Parker in Ft. Smith Arkansas. He chased outlaws all over the Indian territory. quite a man.

I just watched a mini-series about him. I didn't know it was based on truth. As a youngster I was made to feel ashamed for being Black. Wish I had known about Bass Reeves and the Black people who were heroes in all America's wars.
