David Gilmore is my favorite guitarist, just about ever. His live guitar 🎸 solos are unbelievable.
I remember sitting at home listening to his sad, soul-searching solos and just crying. They were that hauntingly beautiful.

My favourite band. Saw them in 1979 playing The Wall, and again in 1994 for The Division Bell, both times at Earl's Court. Also saw Roger Waters playing The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking with Eric Clapton on guitar. All excellent shows

I was already a Pink Floyd fan in 1969, as a result of their earlier album, Ummagumma. Classmates in my high school art major class were always bringing in different albums for us to listen to while we worked on projects, which was an eye opener for me, brought up on a diet of classical and opera as I was!

Try playing "Dark Side of the Moon" while watching "The Wizard of Oz" pretty cool .
