Last fall, a large bull moose swam from New York all the way across Lake Champlain to Vermont where the tourists stood around taking photos of it, so it was afraid to come ashore... and the jerks continued to follow it along the shore with their cell phones out, while the poor thing was so exhausted he drowned. I'm still so upset about that incident!
If you see something in the wild, please don't stop it from going on its way to get a photo!

Who is in charge of plurals? Someone, somewhere, decides the plural of goose is geese, of noose is nooses, and moose is just moose. Not “meese” like Reagan’s Attorney General. 🤣 And where else do you come across “palmate” vs. “dendritic”? I love this site.
