What is Down syndrome?

I have the most pleasure of working with kiddos with downs and autism, as well other learning disabilities in high school ages 14-21, first thing is, they are just like other kids, maybe a little better tho.

I have seen people who have this abnormality, Down Syndrome, do some great things; with excellent coaching. I recently saw several working at one of our Goodwill Stores. Hopefully, this will be an encouragement for families that have a child with this abnormality. I do understand that sometimes parents would rather not expose them to the general public; sad.

It’s great that the medical professionals have a much better understanding about these sort of syndromes and illnesses so that our children can stay home and be raised by their families ❤️

Terri, I have a down syndrome neighbour, he is in his forties, has carers to accompany him shopping and living quite an independent life. 😉

Sarah, That's nice!! to encourage those with disabilities and to speak nice of them!! because a lot of the times!! they might get made fun of!! because they look and are different!! but being different doesn't mean you're weird!! it can mean u are unique and amazing how God made you!! because we are all beautifully and wonderfully made!! wonderful are God's works!! my soul knows it very well!!
